From Dream to Reality

Tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world, next to water, and can be found in almost 80% of all U.S. households. On any given day, over 159 million Americans are drinking tea. (Ref. Tea Fact Sheet - 2019-2020, Tea Association of the USA, Inc.

This fact was true for the Foster household. But it took a while for Thometra Foster to discover that there were so many women, and men, who loved tea as much as she did.

​

One commonality Thometra found to be true among other tea aficionados, like herself, is they are constantly seeking great tasting, quality loose-leaf teas. This was not only true in her region, but in other parts of the world, as well.

What if someone could help others pass along the wonderful and unique culture of tea to their family, friends, and future generations?

Her sincere love of tea, many years of self-education, attending tea conferences/classes, and the desire to expand her knowledge of world teas and their benefits soon sparked an interest to start her own business.

​

Everyone has unique gifts inside of them and if you would ask the friends and family of Thometra Foster what one of her gifts is, the consensus would be an ability to create quality experiences for those around her.

At the prompting of friends and family, Thometra decided to share this gift with tea lovers everywhere.

When she heard the words “Pray for success and wisdom to succeed” in her spirit, she perceived that she was to help bring a unique experience to tea lovers from around the globe by providing quality, custom, lifestyle-blended teas, and education on the several benefits they provide to our health and well-being. So Te'Aqua became a reality!
