Apples and cinnamon strike me as the ideal flavors and aromas to distill the essence of Autumn. This blend was, in effect, Autumn in a cup! The cinnamon chips added a pleasant, warming cinnamon flavor without overpowering the senses, and I enjoyed the apple flavor's lingering presence on the tongue.
Opening the package the aroma of sweet apples, Cinnamon, and a hint of butter is enticing. I prepared the tea as directed steeping for 5 minutes. The first mouthful was soft and full of flavorful cinnamon-baked apples. This tea embodies fall. Who would want pumpkin... When you can have Apple Orchard.
I loved this tea! This brew was so comforting and cozy. The black tea was so smooth, rich, and decadent. The cinnamon adds a nice warmth and earthy flavor, giving it an almost nutty note, and the apple was crisp and sweet. This tea was giving me all the fall vibes! I didn't need to add anything to this, I thought it was perfect as is, but I think it would hold up well to milk. Highly recommend!
A great tea for fall! Hot, this is a delightful tea that is reminiscent of a freshly baked dessert with apples. This is a true apple tea (not fake apple or vague dessert tea, but actual apple) that is very smooth, not bitter, and spiced to perfection. I really like the complementary flavor of the cinnamon chips. With milk, it really amped up the dessert-like quality of this tea. Very refreshing as a cold brew. So delicious, I really enjoy how well this one is blended. Highly recommend!
Deep, woody aroma of an apple orchard at peak harvest. The generous cinnamon chips and apple pieces woven throughout the blend hinted right away that this tea would shine as a latte. I steeped 2 tsp in 8 oz water for 5 minutes, adding a tsp of brown sugar for warmth and depth. I then frothed 6 oz of soy milk and poured it over the infusion. The result was a light yet fragrant latte, where the bold cinnamon takes the lead, beautifully balanced by the apple.
The dry leaf gives off a sweet aroma of cinnamon and apple. Brewed at 212° for 4 minutes, it steeps into a deep copper cup.
The flavor leads with cinnamon—soft and warming rather than spicy—while the apple follows with a gentle smoothness. The use of cinnamon chips offers a more natural, layered taste compared to ground cinnamon or extracts.
There’s a natural sweetness here, slightly woodsy undertones, and overall a comforting profile. I especially enjoy it with just a touch of cream.
Apple orchard black tea is fall in liquid form! The black tea contains cinnamon chips, apple pieces, and orange blossoms. However, I don't get a strong cinnamon or spice taste from it at all. Instead I get the most delightful nutty, apple-y flavor that is naturally sweet and warming in both cold brew and hot/plain brewed forms. Highly recommend this brew!!
