Chocolate Chai Cookies

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup brown sugar

1 Tablespoon Chocolate Chai loose leaf tea

¼ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 Tablespoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon ginger

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

2 sticks of butter (melted)


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Put butter sticks in a microwave safe bowl and melt for 1 minute

3. Add sugar and whisk until fluffy, whisk eggs into mixture

4. Combine dry ingredients in a second large bowl

5. Add wet ingredients into dry using a large spoon

6. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper

7. Using a cookie scoop place dough 2 inches apart

8. Bake 15-18 minutes
